SUNDAY EVENING ZEN PRACTICE at Zendo at lower level of ROCKVILLE UNITED CHURCH. Enter at the back door. Look for a green Welcome sign

7:00 - 8:30 PM

Doors open at 6:30 to find your seat, or request newcomer welcome, or to request Zen meditation practice instruction. First bell is 7:00 pm. A greeter will welcome you.

We have chairs and cushions for meditation. Please wear comfortable clothes.

If you arrive after 7:00 pm, wait in the hall until the second bell rings at 7:25 and then enter the Zendo. Someone will greet you.

SCHEDULE

Three sitting periods, 25 minutes each. First bell at 7:00 followed by opening chant, meditation walking meditation, dharma talk and Teacher interviews, opening and closing chants offered . We end the evening with shared tea and conversation until 9 pm (optional).
