Two types of Membership in Joyful Mind Zendo

Active Membership is defined as:

1. A commitment to the Sangha expressed in a pledge to pay the membership fee, or to communicate the need for a reduction or waiver with the Treasurer.  Pay what is sustainable for you.  Sliding scale membership fee is set at: $20-30/month.

2. A personal commitment to develop and maintain a regular sitting practice. Please discuss this with our guiding teacher if you have questions about how to do this.

3. Active participation in sangha life through: attendance at the zendo as often as possible and attending retreats; offering service to help the sangha function and training in zendo roles; and regular participation in other practice or sangha events.

4. Voluntary support of our teacher through the practice of dana.
