Sunday Zen Practice - Day of the Dead Meditation and Celebration

Join us for a special Day of the Dead celebration honoring our loved ones and ancestors. Bring a photo or memento to place on the candlelit altar. Following one 30 minute meditation period, all may offer a poem or amusing story, or celebration of the life remembered. Or just remain in silence as witness and perhaps do walking meditation outside. We will close with refreshments and community sharing. Please bring a snack to share if you wish.

All are welcome. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to find your cushion or chair and speak to others. Park in the back parking lot of the church and find the entrance (look for a sign) or park in front of the church and walk to the back.

If you arrive after 7:00 pm, wait in the hall until the second bell rings, then enter the Zendo. Someone will greet you.
